Shazam! was a segment of the Kid Super Power Hour with Shazam! It featured the Marvel Family, with Captain Marvel, fighting villains. It was based on the Fawcett Comics character created in 1939 by C. C. Beck and Bill Parker, first published in 1940. The characters get their superhero abilities from a wizard named Shazam. Whenever a Marvel family member calls the name "Shazam", they are struck by lightning and transformed into their alter-ego. Their arch-enemy is Doctor Sivana.
