Hulk Hogan, one of the most outrageous stars of wrestling, inspired this show, although he did not supply the voice of his own character. It featured stories about the wild and outrageous personalities of wrestling as well as battles between opponents on the mats. Live-action comedy sketches starring "Mene" Gene Okerlund were interspersed through each hour-long show. Characters included Captain Lou Albano, Andre the Giant, Richter, Moolah, The Iron Sheik, Mean Gene, Hillbilly Jim, Volkoff, Mr. Fuji, Roddy, Big John Studd, Tino Santana, Junkyard Dog, and Superfly Snuka.
