I am moving up to my grandma's house in Washington at the end of the month and I need a way to pack my fursuits so they won't get all mushed, particularly the heads. I've got three full suits and a couple paws and tails, so hopefully I'll be able to make them fit into a relatively small space.
I think packing each one in it's own box would be best, but I have to keep the space down to as small as it'll go, 'cause the suits will be staying here in AZ until I am able to move out on my own and take all of my crap with me.
So has anyone here ever packed a fursuit for long term storage before? Got any tips?
I was thinking I'd pack the heads full of newspaper or something in order to help them keep their shape. I'm not concerned about the fur wrinkling, just the heads getting mashed up. _________________ "After you’ve qualified on a Marine Corps range, you can’t help but be a good marksman. Yeah, filling the inside of the head helps. Ears are what I have the most problem with, but that's just because of how I make ears. So long as they're packed in something rigid (cardboard box, rubbermaid tub, etc) rather than in something soft (duffel bag, etc.) they should be just fine. _________________ SPark, the Purple Dragon, aka.
