By the power of Grayskull- He-Man 30th. anniversary DVD set

Check it out! Mill Creek is bringing a totally awesome DVD set for He-Man's 30th. anniversary to the market come this December! Wow- what a Christmas gift for fans. This includes ALL the episodes from "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" (original 1983-1985 series), 20 Fan Favorite episodes from "The New Adventures of He-Man" (1990-1991 series- I wonder why they didn't just release all the episodes here, but oh well- it's available in its entirety separately on DVD) and ALL the episodes from "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" (2002-2004 series; I really wish the show creators would use a subtitle or something to differentiate new versions of older shows so that fans don't have to refer to series as "the original" or "the old series", or "the new series" or by year- "the '80s one", "the 2000s one", etc.)
Anyway- the DVD set also comes with as many as 11 previously unreleased documentary programs if I read that right in the description. There's also a soundtrack CD and a 48 page commemorative booklet with episode guides for all the 189 episodes of cartoons featured and even a replica of He-Man's sword!

Yeah, it's a bummer that She-Ra wasn't included, but I think it simply came down to Mill Creek not having the rights to the show. It seems like it's something they could've worked out though... oh well- at least She-Ra has been released in its entirety to DVD already- but still, it's not a really complete set without her.

This looks awesome! I have been waiting for a good collector set to buy. I'm a sucker for cool boxes. Shamefully I have never seen any of the newer He-man shows. How do they stack up to the 80's version?

I generally go with the classics as the best, but I think the 2002 version was a nice addition to the He-Man universe. From what I understand, most fans didn't like The New Adventures of He-Man much. Of course, I'm not big into He-Man, so I really can't speak much on this.
