There are numerous story books created as accompanying merchandise for 1980s cartoons. Offhand, I know of at least one for "Inspector Gadget" ("Inspector Gadget in Africa"- it's a Golden book, one that I've read a couple of times since it's in the library of my old church. My current church membership has an awesome library too! Okay- that had nothing to do with the post really; just wanted to mention it. lol) Laughing
Beyond that- there are storybooks for ThunderCats, Transformers, G.I. Joe, Robotman, DuckTales, Chip 'N' Dale Rescue Rangers, Muppet Babies, etc. .......the list can go on and on.
Are there particular series you're interested in?

The MASK ones are good, but the quality of the recordings vary considerably. A sign of the era they were made.

I have them in mp3. I'd imagine that they'd be fine to upload, as they are long out of print.

Shhhh, but I've still to get those squidbee linked to.

There was a Superman storybook, this was on record player. I remember it well. I would put the record on and read along with the voiceovers on the record. I believe I still have that book and record player in the attic.

I remember we had a storybook and cassette tape of The Fox and the Hound

We, also, had a TRON book and tape. It was kind like this but instead of a record, it had a cassette tape:
