Please tell me I didn't dream this. I remember watching a cartoon in the late 80's I think. I think it was on either Sky One (possible the DJ Cat Show) or on The Children’s Channel.
This is what I can remember, there was a little girl and I think she had a younger brother. I don't think they had parents. She was friends with these alien type things. I think each on had a different ability that was based on stationary. I remember one had cello tape mouth, one had a stapler mouth etc. Does that ring any bells with anyone? I'll never forget this one episode where the baddies poisoned all this bread and everyone fell asleep, but the little girl was ok because she had a toothache and didn't eat it.
I have literally been trying to remember this for years!!!

Diplodos (87)
