Forgotten robots

I'm not entirely sure it was an 80's cartoon, but that's when I watched it growing up...

There were these five robots, did the whole Voltron thing, of course.
I remember one was a skinny cowardly type.
One was the big chunky type. And then the others.
Also, there was a sixth robot, a little girl, who when the others
formed up she went inside with their humans and
a "key" came out of her chest to activate the BigBoy.

Am I anywhere close to making sense?
Does someone remember this?
