Either way, it's not Max.

I wouldn't say this character is part of a team, per se... but he does have travelling companions, if that helps.

The character actually bears a slight resemblance to Thomas Magnum of "Magnum, P.I." (though the cartoon has no connection with the show.)

To answer your question, no- he does not solve crimes. (The slight resemblance to Magnum, P.I. I mentioned is in appearance only- not careerwise. Wink
