I'm looking for the name of an 80s cartoon

The cartoon had a main character, whose name was Darius I think, who did Tai Chi in the intro with a glowing orb in his hand. He was taught by an owl and fought against a group of villains who flew around in a flying mushroom.

I watched the version dubbed into Afrikaans(a South African language) and in the intro the villains used to say "Orbal"
