The problem is that the name is just too common. Can you give us any other tip to point us in the right direction? I just did a quick video search, and I came across all sorts of things, from Basketball games to Harry Potter clips.

This series is about a boy prince named Dexter, whose father, the king, died. Soon after, an evil sorcerer named Renwick stole the crown and proclaimed himself king. Renwick knew somehow that Dexter would stand in his way, so he orders his minions to capture him.

This is a link where you can see an image of the series opening: http://bcdbimages.s3.amazonaws.com/marvel/little_wizards.jpg

Hope it helps.

Sadly, the only copies I find on YouTube are in German or Spanish.

Well, at least now you know it was released by Saban International and, maybe, Saban Entertainment in the US..

Produced by Marvel Productions, which sadly means Disney probably now owns this series and it will most likely never see a release from those sheisters.

The English version is next to impossible to come across, unfortunately. I don't know any trader that has grey market copies of it :/

You can also buy at least one episode of "Little Wizards" on VHS from Amazon.com
(The episode is "The Singing Sword".)

Here are pictures and an episode list at Toonariffic's site.

A few more pictures here.

Little Wizards must have been fairly popular in Germany. There were quite a few VHS tapes released there. Here's one on Amazon.de and another and another and another and one more.

It looks like most of them just have one episode apiece, but I can't be sure for all of them.

Sadly, this is the only version I have. Crying or Very sad Great video quality, great sound, only it is a Russian cast dubbing on all 13 episodes. You're free to have it if you'd like?

Thank you very much for your offer but since I don't speak Russian I won't be able to enjoy it.

Thank you again. Smile

Нет проблем! I have many friends that speak English as their second (or third!) language so I am always picking up stuff for them to enjoy. The Russian voice acting is pretty good, it's never too late to learn? Very Happy

Hopefully, sometime it will be released with original audio. Fingers crossed!

True, the Russian Voice-Acting is surprisingly strong in many cartoons. I recall when I watched an episode of Urikupen Kyjoutai in that language and it was an experience, even better than the ones I watched with German, Swedish and Danish voices (and because I can actually speak swedish -and therefore know what the heck is happening-, that was one heck of an accomplishment).

I have picked up more language skills by watching foreign cartoons than 6+ years of formal education. They use honest simple language and themes that are very understandable. I used to watch and record CN Boomerang 24/7 withe Spanish language turned on. It was phenomenally helpful, and I would send tapes to my sister in law who was studying Spanish in school for her major. Now I don't pass by any cartoons that are not my native language. I pick them up (hope there my be subtitles) and rock out to learning. Very Happy
