HELP!

Okay, this is a toughy...this has been haunting me for years. I may have just made it up. Or I may have mixed more than one together...

Here's what I remember...

1. An elfish type person (looked sorta like Link from the Zelda franchise) jumping around a lot. Maybe with a sword? Maybe over lava? I think he was the hero...

2. A bunch of bad guys (maybe) that were square shaped...very blocky, gray...perhaps made of stone? There was an army of them...all looked exactly the same marching side by side.

3. Seems like there was a little purple character, short and stubby (female?) with a short horn coming out of its forehead.

Any clues? Did I combine more than one movie?
