What Cartoons are these?

I am not sure what cartoons these are, actually not sure they even if they are cartoons. My friends sent them to me and she wants me to try and find out what they are or mean. So if you guys have any ideas that would be great.

I haven't read it yet, but my friend collects it and it's on my to borrow list.

The second one is from Bone comics.
Haven't read them either.

That's definitely Bone in the second pic. Bone is the ghost-looking dude.
