sorry for the misspelled title folks, but for some reason, i cant get the N, P, and ? to work in that window.

anyway, as the title asks, what would anyone think of trying to get a sat(and hopefully sun. too) cartoon lineup? im asking because i'm wondering if anyone else is feeling screwed over by their local already-established network affiliates, after cartoons on saturdays, and sundays have pretty much been discontinued.

that is one of the reasons that i am working on the TSHARK project, is to have something to pitch to Warner Bros, to give them the impression that someone would be interested in watching whatever they offered, if anything.

may i ask, does everyone else here honestly think that i asked a stupid question, or some such thing? i was just thinking that it would be a good outlet for the possibility of having an outlet for revived series, or brand new ones, that come along.

Sure it would be great if better quality cartoon aired on Saturday mornings again. The local networks do show a few that aren't too bad... but nothing quite like the days of my childhood. Maybe this will improve in the future- who knows? At least there's videos and DVDs available and episodes online- that's pretty much how I watch most of my TV nowadays.
(By the way, if no one answered earlier, I'm sure it's not because anyone thinks your question is stupid or anything like that. Sometimes people just don't always have time to post replies to everything- but don't get discouraged. Take care.) Smile

what i dont understand, is why a lot of fans seem so dissatisfied with the quality of modern animation.

to me, they are better, because the colors are more true-to-life, and the action can be made to be more fluid.

I don't know about that. Some modern animation I don't find to always be totally true to life... but of course, it's an approximation, so I don't get too upset about it. But I think some folks prefer different styles just as a taste thing. For example, I don't care much for the Japanese anime style in general- although there are a few select shows in anime style that I like.
(the late 1980s Peter Pan cartoon, for one. Cool )
Of course, I'm generally more concerned with the content of the show itself and the quality of the writing, though animation is certainly a factor that weighs in too.

you know what bothers me, for both older and newer writing standards? when chronology of major plot twists, and permanent changes aren't properly kept track of, and ignored when newer episodes are made.
