| I never bothered to watch it. I didn't look like it was going to be any good. Then again, looking back on the old He-Man cartoons, they really weren't that great to begin with.

| Well it wasn't the 3rd season lets clear that up.I think that was more like the 2nd release of the the action figures and series.I wasn't even aware that it actually had a cartoon to go with it but I had seen the figures which looked of really poor quality and just plain wrong.Really looking back on most cartoons or shows though I often wonder why I liked them,.but thats not the point really,.it's that I did then and have good memories of doing so.But on another note the New Masters series is very well done and the toys ar super detailed.

| So...what you guys are saying is it probably isn't worth the $20 per season box set to buy it just to complete the spine art? Dam.

I haven't seen it though
And i'm tempted....debating if i should resist. |
I'm one of the two people who loves NA, but I'm always wary of recommending it. It is consistently well-written, and wrangles some interesting topics, but it doesn't have a very strong connection to the original and I think that's what really hurt it. In theme and tone, it's closer to She-Ra than He-Man (early into the series, SPOILER behind white text, Skeletor takes over Primus and He-Man forms a resistance ), but the only returning characters are He-Man, Skeletor, the Sorceress, and (blink-and-you'll-miss-it briefly) Teela, and Primus is a vastly different place than Eternia. Still, I did enjoy it._________________

Ha-ha-ha-ha! Okay. Now i am defintly tempted. Why does He-Man even care about Primus? How did he even end up there? I think the creators of He-Man got jelous of She-Ra's awesomeness. Ma-ha-ha!

In the introductory episodes, Primus is under daily attack by an army of mutants from a nearby planet. They're able to hold them off, but they are slowly being worn down. Master Sebrian, a wise man of Primus, discovers that, on a distant planet in the distant past, a hero with magical powers conquered the forces of evil. He uses a time machine to send some of Primus's soldiers to this distant place/time, where they are to find this hero and bring him back. Unfortunately, thanks to their limited information about Eternia and its inhabitants, they identify the wrong magical being as the hero. That's right, Primus's finest accidentally grab Skeletor! He-Man is warned of their mistake by the Sorceress and rushes to their rescue. The result is, both He-Man and Skeletor are whisked away to Primus.
Skeletor quickly insinuates himself into the mutants' army, and He-Man feels it is his responsibility to protect Primus from him, so that's why he winds up staying there._________________
