Hello, Im a huge fan of the great 80's show TigerSharks & wish it was still around. So...a friend & I are working on a project to breath new life into the old classic. Ill post more about the story and characters soon.

Wow- sounds really cool. I grew up with all 3 of Rankin-Bass' classic '80s cartoons (ThunderCats, SilverHawks and TigerSharks)- and I'm a big fan of all of them. (Along with the rest of The Comic Strip Wink )- I'll definitely be interested to see how this progresses. Hope that goes well for ya. Smile

Wow- I'm sure there's always new stories out there- it's just been so long since I've really been watched TigerSharks- I'd have to look through the few episodes I have again and refresh my memory on things...
Don't know if this was ever done on the show, but maybe you could explore something with the Fish Tank. Perhaps a transformation gone bad leaves the team in a half-way stage- as mermen and mermaids- could be interesting. Or maybe it could even mutate them into something further than fish-people... like some kind of unintelligent fish creatures...
And of course, all the while- Captain Bizarrly and T-Ray are planning attacks on Water-O , taking advantage of the TigerSharks seeming absence....
Well- just an idea.

actually, the creators did a botched de-morph incident, with dolph, which left him floating around in the fish tank, in a stupor. but, the new elements that you mentioned, i would like to try to work into a new episode plot.

no one wants to talk about TSHARKS anymore? i hope someone does, because i'm starting on chracter sketches now. iso far, i'm drawing Mako in front, back, and rt/left profiles, in both human and shark forms, and i would like to ask for more honest feedback/criticism. i can show the drawings on webcam on yahoo, under my username, dbppres.

You could even try taking it a step further and somehow have the Fish Tank destroyed with the TigerSharks permanently stuck in their fish forms (or mutated forms, etc. whichever storyline you go with) unless Walro can somehow build a new one.

I don't recall the episode you're referring to offhand, but like I said- though I have watched a few episodes fairly recently- majority of the episodes I haven't seen since I was a kid in the '80s! Wink

i'll talk to Numbaz about that possible event in a future episode.

on the subject of remembering the dolph floating in stupor episode. well, i wish that i could recall more details, to jog your memory, but unfortunately, im in the same boat, recall-wise.

The pics never came up when I opened this topic before today. Not bad looking.

I don't think I ever saw Tiger Sharks to be honest (although judging by the opening titles it looks pretty cool) so I wouldn't be able to help with any plot ideas, sorry.

folks, if i can ask something real quick, and if it would be a worst-case scenario, where WB would possibly say we have the consent, but ONLY if we are willing to make episodes, with whatever means are at our disposal.

someone told me that Flash software is ok-and fairly easy-to use for 2-D style animation. would anyone be ok with seeing new stories, in that format?
