Help!! cars where they go into a circle to teleport?

Just wondering if anybody remembers a cartoon from the 80's (early 90's) where it has an all car cast, which are driven by humans, and the get raised up by rocks as they drive in a circle in order to teleport? Any help would be appreciated!

It sort of sounds like one
of the early 90's Transformer series

I remember them having some sort of space bridge
that was a ramp, but that version might be a too recent

Yeah, I thought that too. I checked it out and it is different. My wife is the one who is trying to remember this cartoon. Here is what I looked through and have come up with nada:
Transformers, Go-Bots, Voltron (LV and VV), and Speed racer.
Any other thoughts?

Im not sure I understand the description.
The cars drove in a circle to teleport or maybe through
a circle like a portal or something like Hot Wheels AcceleRacers-much too recent though- or StarGate)?
Was it anime or western style animation?
Any more info?

-Cars,motorcycles,other vehicles(one teleported)
-They were stationed near a desert mesa

There's a very vague similarity to

I believe it as more of an anime. All that she remembers is that these cars drive up into a cirlce. The ground (usually looks like rocks) raises them up a bit, and then they teleport together onto a spaceship type thing.
I will look into StarGate and M.A.S.K.
Sorry, thats all I have for a discription... I really thought that it sounded like a Transformer ep that I saw a long time ago, but I couldn't find it.

I was thinking of the Global Space Bridge in

Transformers:
Robots in Disguise
a.k.a. Transformers RID

but as I've said before,
it wasn't an 80's cartoon
