This is a good classic Halloween cartoon. A bunch of friends go on adventure to save their friend (Pip) and learn the history of their costumes and the importance of Halloween.
Really liked the animation. Halloween specials often come across as the same. Small town, witch, vampire, werewolf or whatever. Eventually a bunch of kids beat them all saving the town and their parents. The Halloween Tree focused on Halloween and the more I think about it the more I realize there isn't a standard "this is what Halloween is all about" movie out there.
What i really liked was the tree. It was a huge tree which grew jack-o-lanterns! (and something about them being souls) So cool! But it only got like 2 minutes of air time. Awww.
It was good, i would recommend you watch it but it hasn't hit classic status yet, at least in my mind.
