After seeing the releases for the 1960s and 1970s cartoons, I was wondering when Warner would release some 1980s stuff. What do you know? Here we go! Very Happy Cool
http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Flintstone-Kids-Saturday-Morning-Cartoons-1980s-V1/13320

This package comes with 11 shows on 2 discs, including episodes of The Flinstone Kids, Mr. T, Monichichis, Thundarr the Barbarian, and Dragon's Lair- and other titles not yet disclosed. WOW! That's still great to have any episodes of these shows on DVD- as none of them have been released to DVD yet. Hopefully this will give a good taste of shows for fans and also get interest up for getting complete series sets for these great '80s cartoons. Very Happy

Check out the back cover art here!

And now we also have a complete listing of the cartoons included.
There should be at least one episode from each of the following series on this DVD set.

The Flintstone Kids
Mr. T
Chuck Norris: Karate Kommandos
Dragon's Lair
Galtar and the Golden Lance
Thundarr the Barbarian
Monchichis
The Kwicky Koala Show
The Biskitts
The Completely Mental Misadventures of Ed Grimley
Goldie Gold & Action Jack

Wow- that's 11 cartoons from the 1980s that have not seen any kind of official DVD release yet at all. So this is a really nice assortment here.
There's also a bonus feature called "Lords of Light! Thundarr the Barbarian - Explore the animated origins of this timeless hero and why his popular series still resonates today"

The release date is May 4th.
Very Happy Cool

For some strange reason I'd like to see Mr. T's show get a DVD release.

"I Pitty the foo who doesn't release the complete series on DVD"

Thundarr would be cool too. I never really got into Dragon's Lair though.

As for Goldie gold I remember watching a few episodes. always liked the Pool Plane she liked to ride in. totally ridiculous but still cool.

The Flinstone Kids was a favorite for me as a kid- I wouldn't mind seeing that again.
And I also enjoy Mr. T and Chuck Norris: Karate Kommandos.
Of course, the Chuck Norris cartoon only had 5 episodes, so it wouldn't be too hard to get a single disc release out for that series.

As for Mr. T- well, with The A-Team movie coming out this summer (that Mr. T has turned down a cameo role for, but Dwight Schultz and Dirk Benedict will have cameos)- the Mr. T cartoon may just make its way to DVD in a full series set. Smile
