Im working on a college paper on Popular 80's cartoons. I need to do a poll to see which one's are the favorites. Im only going to talk about the top 10. Please list your favorite cartoon from to 80's. Please only list one or I won't count it, I know it's hard but you can do it. You guys will determine the top 10 list I write about and present to my class. So thanks to any one in advance for helping me out.
(I would of done a poll but it won't let me list that many.)

Only 1???
Hmmm.
I think you might be in some trouble. We don't have many members that...are here on a continues basis. There are so many cartoons out there that you could end up with a list with no duplicates.
Perhaps, if got a list from each of us of what we think were the most popular cartoons (not necessary our favorites) and you might end with something you can compile in a list.
I'd also consider setting some boundaries. For example, Danger Mouse. Ask people in North America and there is a good chance they've never heard of it but it wouldn't shock me if it made you're list if you ask someone in the UK.
Transformers should definitely make you're list. I'm not a particular fan of the show but the following it still has frightens me!
He-Man (or she-ra) should also make it. It is a very well known 80s cartoon staple.
I'd also consider:
Care Bears
Smurfs
TMNT
Thundercats (haven't actually seen it before (please don't kill me fellow 80s cartoon fanatics)...but...there is a following)
Jem
Rainbow Brite
MLP
D&D
Those are some of the bigger ones.
My fav...my fav...hmmmmm
I would say the Muppet Show. Although...it's not really a cartoon...unless you count muppet babies...but i didn't like it.
My fav...my fav...
Uggg. i did love She-Ra but i also loved Count Duckula and rainbow brite.
Going with She-Ra. (cause the theme is so much fun! dododo dodo dodo dooo)

He comes back after the 1986 "Transformers: The Movie" in the 3 episode "Season 4".
And regarding 1980s cartoons, dude, there is no way I can pick just 1 favorite. I love many cartoons- and particularly many '80s shows that I grew up with.
I suppose if I you want just one for a poll- I'd put in a vote for G.I. Joe That's long been one of my favorites.
But I also love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, ThunderCats, SilverHawks, The Comic Strip (cartoon series comprised of Tiger Sharks, Karate Kat, Street Frogs, and The Mini-Monsters), Kidd Video, Turbo Teen, Lazer Tag Academy, Muppet Babies, Fraggle Rock (both live action and cartoon), Inspector Gadget, Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers, The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin, Adventures of the Gummi Bears, DuckTales, Chip 'N' Dale: Rescue Rangers, Garfield and Friends, Heathcliff and The Catillac Cats, Police Academy: The Series (yes, a cartoon series!), Alvin and the Chipmunks, C.O.P.S., Bravestarr, Spider-Man (1984 series), Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends, Superman (1988 series), SuperFriends (started in 1973 but ran through 1985!), Mr. T, Garbage Pail Kids (yes, a cartoon series), It's Punky Brewster (cartoon series), Smurfs, Snorks, Pac-Man............
believe me, the list goes on and on....

Optimus Vs. Megatron

from
Transformers:
The Movie (86)
Hot Rod eventually took the mantle of leadership and became
Rodimus Prime. He spent the entire season moping & lamenting
his new responsiblities, until Prime was eventually revived in
TV Episode:The Return Of Optimus Prime .

Somebody get teddy0bear a DVD.
By today's standards it may look kind of lame. But most of us grew up with it, and the toys. And we have a special attachment to it.
But don't feel bad, I only recently got to watch the 1986 movie. I bought the 20th anniversary specvial edition DVD.
Getting back on topic.
I don't know, it would be hard to choose.
I like all the above mentioned, I also like Centurions, Mazinger Z, Voltron (cats and vehicles), MASK.
It would very hard too choose._________________ Haven't thought of one yet, when I do i'll put it here.
