Okay, '80s cartoons fans! Get ready to freak out yet again!

The Mysterious Cities of Gold is coming to DVD!!!! YES! Both in the UK (actually, it'll go there first)- and then to the good ol' USA! (and I assume, North America in general).
The full 39 episodes will be released in 3 volumes on DVD, with 13 episodes apiece. Look for all this somewhere in 2008!

Well- just saw an update on this today. The Mysterious Cities of Gold has indeed been released in the UK, so Region 2 fans can rejoice!

But when will the show get released on DVD in North America?

it looks like the first quarter of 2009 is the new target date.
Negotiations are still being worked out to find a distributor and hopefully it will all come together soon. But rest assured, it IS still in the works and hopefully will be coming to store shelves in the USA and Canada by the start of next year.
