cartoons for download

I would like to put up links of cartoons to download but I dont know witch ones are legal to download and witch ones are not.

can we make a download seccion?

Sounds good to me! I'd love to see more of the 80's toons that are hard to find.

Some cartoons are actually in the public domain and would be perfectly legal to download- like the 1940s Max Fleischer Superman cartoons. A lot of the Looney Tunes, Popeye, Betty Boop and Tom and Jerry cartoons fall into this category.

I think the general rule of thumb on cartoon downloads is- If it's legally available on DVD- then you should buy the DVD if you want the episodes. I can see downloading cartoons that aren't available anywhere else and don't look like they will be anytime soon. But as soon as they are available legally- then the links need to go down and you need to buy the DVD or VHS release.

I have a couple of old voltron cartoons that I have formatted for the PSP and Ipod. Any chance of a sections for those kinds of downloads? How do I get those toons to you guys anyway? Sorry I'm new, and haven't got to read everything yet. I love this site

we can always upload to www.megaupload.com or other uploading pages.

how about "family guy" im downloading season 1-4 plus movie as i write XD.

can someone make a list of cartoon that we can legaly download? so that we can make a search on the web and if someone finds some downloads we can than share .

Family Guy Seasons 1-4, and the movie are all out on DVD so probably not best to mess with that. Doubt you want to get into Copyright trouble.
The easiest way I can think of to see if "legal" or not is just to go onto Amazon.Com, and see if it is out on VHS or DVD.
