I just have been listening to some of the great music from this movie again recently and thought I'd post it here for folks to enjoy. I love the 1984 movie- just a great science fiction film that also has a good bit of romance and a lot of heart- by far, one of John Carpenter's best in my opinion. (And probably my favorite Jeff Bridges movie and my favorite for Karen Allen outside of, of course, the Indiana Jones movies.)

And as much as I love the movie, the 1986-1987 spinoff TV series that followed was just as good if not better! I have seen that entire series a number of times and I'm ecstatic that it finally got released to DVD! Such a wonderful series! Very Happy Cool

Cool. Cool Definitely check it out if you get a chance- the movie does have some unfortunate things I don't agree with, but overall it's generally pretty clean- and I do like the scifi romance story going on. And the TV series is a wonderful show that highlights a great father-son relationship.

I am not real good at movie watching so have never seen it or the series. Some of my buddies have spoken very highly of it. Maybe one day I can check it out.
