Hi guys, really after help on this one, been searching for years
I remember a TV movie when I was a child, I'm guessing around mid to late 80s.
I remember a boy who was on a steamboat in the river, one I'm sure with the big back water wheel, there was a monster on this boat that was friendly, I'm sure it was called "Bunyan" but searching that hasn't helped. This monster lived on Tomato Soup.
I'm also sure there was a river bandit involved in the plot too.
The monster was green,
Hope someone can shed some light on this one,
Thanks

Wild guess...
Could it be Bunyip instead of Bunyan?
The Phantom Treehouse
a boy teams up with a green Bunyip to save his friend Lucy
If not, any more info?

Hi, thanks for the reply, just checked it out, unfortunately not the one I'm thinking of, I'd say it is newer than the phantom treehouse.
I keep wracking my brain to remember more but it's a real struggle. I think the river bandit jumped on from a bridge possibly, there was a captain on the ship too, I don't remember much being on land so I'm assuming all set along a river.
The tomato soup eating monster made me think Google would be an easy find but nothing pops up.
Monster name I could be wrong about, bunyip seemed near too.

A reply to this was among the posts which were lost yesterday when our host had to restore the database from backup. The reply was from the OP and indicated that this was the right show.
