I don't know if anybody posted this yet or not so, here it is...

If you haven't heard, Casey Kasem passed away. In addition to the Top 40 countdowns he was the voice of Shaggy on Scooby-Doo until 2008, voiced Robin on Super Friends, Bluestreak and Cliffjumper (among others) in the Transformers cartoon, Mark on the American version of Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, Battle of the Planets, etc..

He was also the voice of Alexander Cabot III on Josie and the Pussycats and Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space and he was the voice of Peter Cottontail in the stop-motion special Here Comes Peter Cottontail.

Casey Kasem was a radio legend as well as the voice of numerous cartoons, certainly some of my favorites being Shaggy and Robin. And as an Archie fan, it's neat to know that he voiced Alexander Cabot III as well on the Josie and the Pussycats cartoons.
I also particularly remember his live action appearances on two different shows- the classic "Dancing to The Max" episode of "Saved By the Bell" and another classic 2 part episode of another show- "Mystery of the Hollywood Phantom" (Parts 1 and 2) of "The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries".
He will definitely be missed. May God comfort his family during this sad time.
