YES! Mill Creek is yet again bringing more '80s classics to DVD! This 1984 cartoon series is now getting released to DVD once more- "Heathcliff and the Catillac Cats" (technically just "Heathcliff" but the name of the backup segment is usually included to distinguish from the 1980 "Heathcliff and Dingbat"/"Heathcliff and Marmaduke" show).
Shout! Factory released a DVD set some years back with the first 24 episodes, but it's now out of print.
Now Mill Creek is releasing Season 1, Volume 1 on DVD with the first 32 episodes! For only $12.98, you can't beat that! It is due out on February 21st!

Very Happy Cool

Hopefully, the other 54 episodes of the series will follow and this whole cartoon can get released on DVD! Then, maybe they can follow up with the 1980 "Heathcliff" cartoon series as well.

Mill Creek just recently followed up with "Heathcliff- Season 1, Volume 2" on DVD on October 1, 2013!
Yay! Now all of Season 1- (with Volume 1 and Volume 2) is on DVD.

Hopefully Mill Creek will soon follow that up with the remaining 21 episodes from Season 2 as well.
Very Happy Cool

Getting truly complete sets is always awesome. I unfortunately have the first set that was released, and wish they just reissued that and made a volume two for the additional episodes. Oh well, cest la vie!

I wish Mill Creek didnt cram so many episodes onto a single DVD, but I suppose itll be worth it if they get the complete series out.

Yeah- you take what you can get. Mill Creek has its issues with DVD releases- cramming a ton of episodes on each disc and cheaper packaging (but at least they've moved away from putting the discs in black paper sleeves to putting a stack of discs on a spindle- I think most fans agree that the latter is a much better approach.)
I've been happy with their releases though- the package art still looks great to me and these methods are some of the reasons why they can release this material to DVD for such a cheap price- and I definitely appreciate that. Very Happy Cool
So the bottom line is- at least these shows are finally getting a DVD release of some sort.

Still hoping we get more volumes of this. I've got the first two so far.
