Yep- the classic Pac-Man cartoon is finally coming to DVD! If all goes to plan, Warner Bros. tentatively has this scheduled to be released as a MOD (Manufacture on Demand) DVD from Wbshop.com somewhere around February or March of 2011.
Grab some power pellets and get excited!

Wow- well, this release definitely took a LOT longer than expected- but it's finally almost here. Gobble up some power pellets and get charged for the January 31, 2012 release of Season 1 of "Pac-Man" on DVD!

I noticed on Amazon.com the release date for this title is listed as March 1, 2012- but either way, the 1st. season of Pac-Man is out on DVD now! Hopefully the 2nd. season and the Christmas special will come to DVD soon as well and complete this series' run on DVD.

And in related news- Disney is picking up a NEW Pac-Man cartoon series! (This one will apparently be 3D animated.)

The 2nd. (and final) season of "Pac-Man" has been released to DVD!!!!
And it does include the "Christmas Comes to PacLand" special! Yay!
So now "Pac-Man" is complete on DVD!

I recorded most of these off of Cartoon Networks Boomerang and had recorded the Christmas special off Cartoon Network back in the middle 1990's.

I have thought of purchasing these because of the watermark station id in the corner on my copies.

The Christmas Comes to PacLand is one of my favorites. Funny it was recorded in 1996 and except for a few of the commercials mentioning Cartoon Network and a brief few seconds of the Cartoon Network logo during the airing it is close to being perfect. The Boomerang episodes I have taped off in early 2000's use the small b in the corner. It is still annoying but now that Boomerang watermark has doubled or tripled in size.

It would be nice to watch them complete.

Yeah- I haven't seen much of Pac-Man beyond the Christmas special, but it is a fun series- I enjoy it. It's definitely one of the better video game-based TV series and/or movies.
