Marvel's The Avengers

Awesome movie! really lives up to the hype and all that, it's perhaps the next Star Wars.

I did a marathon of all 5 movies starting from Captain America to Iron man to Incredible Hulk to Iron Man 2 and finally Thor to complete the story that links to this movie.

Joss Whedon is a genius and has made the most epic Marvel film ever. I saw it 4 times.

Awesome! I saw "The Avengers" on opening day and I can't wait to see it again soon. Very Happy

And from the looks of the additional scenes in the credits, we have a strong hint of where a sequel might be going... Smile

After checking various clips from the other movies, especially Thor, I have a pretty good idea of where exactly it's going, and I totally agree!

I had a great time seeing it and I really want to see it again this weekend. Many of my friends have already seen it at least twice. Fantastic movie. This shows that a superhero movie can be 1) a well-made film which 2) doesn't talk down to or mock its audience and 3) can make a LOT of money. I hope the next one is even half as epic.

Hahaha- that's awesome!
Hmm- a canine variation of Beta Ray Bill- or perhaps a "What If?" storyline where the question is- "What if Thor had been turned into a dog instead of a frog?" lol Laughing

(Of course, I'm not sure how amused the dog was to be saddled with all that stuff. These things make cute pictures sometimes, but I don't think I'd force my dog to wear any cutesy outfits or whatever, if I had one.)

And back to the main topic- I've now seen "The Avengers" twice and it's awesome!
I love that there are a couple of Biblical references too- Iron Man briefly mentions the book of Jonah (comparing Jonah's stay in the belly of the great fish for three days and three nights to Iron Man's trip into the belly of the beast).
And of course, when Black Widow describes Thor and Loki to Captain America- "They're basically gods."

Amen, Cap! That part was awesome! Very Happy

Also, as a sort of tie-in to that scene, later in the movie, after Loki starts giving a speech proclaiming himself as a god to The Incredible Hulk, Hulk takes Loki and pounds him around into the ground for a while- and after tossing aside a beaten Loki, Hulk utters, "Puny god."
I loved that scene too! Cool

(I actually didn't hear that line in my first viewing of the movie because there was so much audience laughter going on then.)

great film just saw it for the first time last night love the hulk-loki scene.

many many laughter parts in the movie

Saw it 3 more times and just keeps getting better for me.

It could be comic book cinema's answer to Star Wars

I surprisingly don't own it yet though. Soon, soon.

I really like how they did the Hulk this time around. He has been struggling (producing 2 movies with different actors trying to get it right) and I really think they did a good job this time around.

Thor and Loki get all of my love as usual. Smile

AND! You saw what was coming next? Thanos for the win!

The Avengers was really a great movie even Thor was an amazing movie.
