Remember these guys from the '80s? Yes- the Sunmaid Raisins advertising icons who made it big as Claymation characters in '80s commercials and got record deals, toys and other merchandising, a prototype Nintendo Entertainment System video game (one of the rarest of the rarest NES titles! 
) and yes- a 1989 cartoon series!
The complete 13 episode series is coming to DVD! It is set to be released November 15, 2011- and it has some great extras like the 1988 primetime special "Meet The Raisins!" and the 1990 primetime special "Raisins: Sold Out!"
And of course- 4 classic commercials starring the California Raisins!
Very unexpected but very cool!
