Animated series about history of the world in the 80's.

From what I remember, It was about Historical times (Caveman, Roman, etc) and was quite humorous. The villain had a big nose and was always getting shown up by the hero. Not sure if it was from the US or if it was dubbed. I remember it had a space launch at the end of the opening credits but dont remember seeing episodes about modern times.
Been searching for the last couple of days, but not even anything remotely similar has appeared
