Has anyone else heard anything about this new Inspector Gadget cartoon that was supposed to be coming from DIC in 2009? I never heard anything about this until I ran across this on an Inspector Gadget fan site. Looks like it could be pretty cool.
I love the classic 1980s Inspector Gadget series- I certainly wouldn't mind having a new series to watch.
For that matter, anyone ever see any of the various spin-offs? - Gadgetboy & Heather, Inspector Gadget's Field Trip and Gadget and the Gadgetinis.

Okay. That was cool.
And the internet claims he appears again in ep: Treasure of the Sierra Brooklyn
But I can't find it on the tube.
Oh, and I'm not sure what I think about a new series. Could be interesting. But I'm not a big fan of the spin offs. Mainly as Dr. Claw became a family man in one of them. Part of me died instead a wee bit.

Dr. Claw as a family man? Okay, that's just weird. lol
Yeah- I'm not real interested in the Inspector Gadget spin-offs so much, but out of curiousity I wouldn't mind watching some of them just to see what it's like. But like all the new versions of Transformers, G.I. Joe and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I'm pretty sure none of the new versions will ever be as good to me as the 1980s original classic.
I have seen both live action IG films though and I enjoyed those well enough. (The second was actually a lot better than I thought it would be.) And I have seen "Inspector Gadget's Biggest Case Ever"
but I still want to see "Inspector Gadget's Last Case".

Yeah...family man. In Gadget and the Gadgetinis you meet his parents, his nephew and his evil brother Dr. Thaw!

Be afraid!
I've seen the first live action, but not the second. I have his last case too. It was scary. The Gadget-mobile talked. Creepy.

| They did that in Inspector Gadget 2 as well. (The Gadgetmobile talking that is. Come to think of it- wasn't that the case in the first movie too?)
