This cartoon was definitely from the 80s... I can remember seeing it when I was very young, it had a girl, in space or something, and she watered a rose that was wilting, and put a glass case on it. I know, super vague. Also, I feel like this took place on a moon, and the vibe was definitely anime. Anyone?

Thanks straydog! Now I just have to go figure out why my parents let me watch this psychedelic, creepy, mind job of a cartoon. That may take a little longer though.

I don't know about you but I had a tendency to watch bizarre stuff when my parent's weren't around Wink

I don't know about the cartoon versions, but you should read the book. It is a great read and really inspiring in some parts.
Mister Rogers counted this as one of his favorite books and had the French language original. Very Happy
"What is essential is invisible to the eye." Cool Love it.
By the way, I don't know if this is the same series you're talking about, but at least one version of The Adventures of the Little Prince cartoon from the '80s is available in its entirety on DVD.
