I remember. Cute furry animals all wearing t-shirts that would turn red when they needed to go rescue someone.

They also flashed signs on the shirts

They also had a secret lair and car almost like Batman.

The solved mysteries in a city. And there Base was a tree in a small park.

with a flashing Mushroom outside to alert them of danger, or whent he commissioner was calling.

I used to love Shirt Tales as a kid- still like watching it now. Great, fun cartoon. It may actually have served as a bit of inspiration to Chip 'N' Dale Rescue Rangers actually. Both series kinda remind me of each other to some degree.
I definitely remember the base in the tree in the park and the shirts that would flash different messages, usually reflecting their feelings- almost like mood rings. Laughing
I've still got one of the officially released VHS tapes of Shirt Tales episodes.
