Good news for any other turtle fans in R2 - according to the cover art on Amazon.co.uk the 3 disc set is the complete seasons 1 and 2 plus 4 bonus episodes (even better news for those of us who preordered when it was at the price of the 1 disc release!).

The 1 disc release has 3 episodes but no mention of what ones.

There is bad news though - the cover art, as is unfortunately often the case with 80's cartoons releases, is off ***** but s small price to pay I suppose to get some turtles Smile

Look for it out on September 1st! Wow- Lionsgate is moving pretty fast with TMNT now- probably because of the 25th. anniversary.
I was kinda hoping they would've just put Seasons 8-10 in one big set because each season only has 8 episodes each. But hey- why put out one big 24 episode set that would nicely round up the rest of the series when you can stretch this baby out for every single indivdual season and squeeze a few more dollars out of the fans? Wink

Well- at least they've stayed consistent with each season being released separately thus far. (Some have been in multiple volumes, yes, but they've still been separate releases of Seasons' worth of episodes- for the most part.) (i.e. The as yet unreleased episodes notwithstanding.)
All right- well, come this September it'll once again be time to- Go Green Machine! (LOL- probably for both the ATM and the Turtles! Wink

For all the TMNT fans out there that wanted Season 7 on DVD, but didn't want to have to buy 4 individual box sets- well, Lionsgate has solved your dilemma. Now you have the option of buying Season 7 in one complete DVD set on November 3rd!
And don't forget, Season 8 will be out on September 1st.

I really want to see Seasons 9 and 10 on DVD soon now that I've finally gone through watching Seasons 1-8 on DVD. I've really been getting into it in Season 8- it's nice to see how over the course of the whole series, there is a story arc that has been slowly progressing. Cool

...granted...season 5 was not the best..although Bebop and Rocksteady dressed as potatoes was kinda worth it.

Season 10 of the original, classic, 1987-1996 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon series is coming to DVD from Lionsgate on August 14, 2012! By the end of the summer, this whole series will finally have all 10 seasons released to DVD! (I just hope we can really call it truly complete with the inclusion of the previously skipped over episodes from earlier seasons.) As a huge TMNT fan who grew up watching the original cartoon as a kid and has been collecting this on DVD since the first Season released in 2004- I'm excited to finally see the last season release 8 years later! It took a long while but the end is finally in sight! Woohoo!

Finally the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (1987-1996) TV series will be truly complete on DVD!
The missing episodes from Season 5 will finally be released to DVD as bonus episodes included on the Season 10 DVD release!
(The episodes in question are "Once Upon a Time Machine" and "Planet of the Turtleoids" (Parts 1 and 2))

Of course, now that all 10 seasons have finally been released to DVD (along with the missing episodes from Season 5), Lionsgate is bringing out a Complete Series DVD release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
It will be released on November 13th. and should include exactly the same contents as the individual season/volume releases. (So fans who have been buying them as they were released for the last 8 years don't need to worry about missing out on anything.)
However, the packaging for the Complete Series DVD set is mondo cool, man. It's totally tubular!
